Through a complex network of interwoven pipes and geometric structures, I aimed to represent the unseen systems that sustain our cities—both physically and metaphorically. The carefully rendered shading and perspective create depth, emphasizing the contrast between function and abstraction.
Subtle textual elements like Paris, Olympique, and France reference historical and cultural attributions, tying the composition to themes of connectivity, legacy, and movement.
This piece invites the viewer to consider what is built, what is hidden, and what remains essential, reinforcing the idea that attribution is more than acknowledgment—it’s the foundation of everything we construct.

Submerged Echoes
This 14” x 8” watercolor painting on paper (framed at 32.5” x 18”) reimagines classical architecture lost to the depths of time. By placing an ancient temple beneath the ocean’s surface, I explore themes of history, resilience, and transformation.
The soft fluidity of watercolor lends itself to the dreamlike quality of the scene, where floating jellyfish glide past weathered columns, symbolizing the passage of time and nature’s quiet reclamation.
The interplay of warm golden hues and deep blues creates a striking contrast, emphasizing both the grandeur and fragility of human-made structures. A fallen statue rests among the ruins, a reminder that even the most enduring civilizations eventually become memories carried by the tides. This piece invites the viewer to reflect on impermanence, beauty, and the stories hidden beneath the surface.

Charcoal Boy
This 12.5” x 10” charcoal drawing on paper captures a moment of quiet introspection, where the softness of light and shadow blend to evoke an intimate, almost dreamlike atmosphere. Through delicate rendering, I sought to express a sense of warmth and familiarity, allowing subtle details—like the creases in fabric, the gentle contours of the face, and the interplay of highlights and deep shadows—to guide the viewer’s emotions.
The relaxed pose and contemplative expression invite interpretation, creating a narrative that extends beyond the composition itself. This piece is a study of mood and texture, where the richness of charcoal allows for a profound depth, adding weight to both the physical and emotional presence of the subject.

Charcoal Composition
This 16.5” x 32.5” charcoal drawing on paper is a meticulous study of form, texture, and contrast. Through careful shading and layering, I aimed to bring depth and realism to everyday objects, transforming them into a narrative of personal significance. The soft drapery in the background creates a sense of movement, while the objects in the foreground are rendered with precision, capturing the interplay of light and shadow.
Each element in the composition tells a subtle story—whether through the worn texture of fabric, the reflective surface of the camera lens, or the interplay of materials that contrast between organic and industrial forms. Destination Series:
Rio de Janeiro – A Visual Tribute
This 11” x 15” digital illustration, created using Procreate and Photoshop, captures the vibrant essence of Rio de Janeiro through a stylized, warm-toned composition. By blending bold geometric forms with organic elements, I sought to depict not just the city's iconic landmarks but also its energy, culture, and sense of home.
The favelas rise like a mosaic of life, filled with rich earthy hues that reflect the city's resilience and spirit. The Christ the Redeemer stands watchfully above, while native birds bring movement and authenticity to the scene. The phrase "Home is where the Cariocas are" reinforces the idea that Rio is more than a place—it’s a feeling, a rhythm, and a connection to its people.
Through this piece, I aimed to celebrate Rio beyond the postcard-perfect views, emphasizing its depth, warmth, and dynamic personality. This project allowed me to explore the power of minimalism and storytelling in illustration, creating a piece that feels both nostalgic and inviting.

Ayrton Senna Tribute: Commemorative Stamp Series
This 6.25” x 9” series, created with acrylic paint on paper, is a tribute to one of Brazil’s most legendary figures—Ayrton Senna. Inspired by the dynamism and passion he brought to Formula 1, I designed a set of commemorative stamps that encapsulate speed, movement, and national pride.
Each piece explores different color variations, reflecting the intensity and energy of Senna’s presence on and off the track. The distorted lines evoke speed and motion, mirroring the rush of a race car in action, while the bold typography and graphic composition pay homage to classic postage stamp aesthetics.

Fractured Perceptions
This 12” x 15” collage on paper is a visual exploration of the fragmented nature of thought, perception, and internal struggle. Using a combination of torn and cut printed images, I constructed layers that reflect the complexity of the human mind. The raw, distressed edges evoke the feeling of disorder and introspection, while the mechanical elements, such as gears and repetitive eyes, symbolize the constant motion of thoughts and self-awareness.
To add depth and cohesion, I incorporated black ink details, enhancing the surreal and dreamlike quality of the piece. The presence of prescription bottles labeled with contrasting messages—positivity and dissolution of negativity—questions the modern approach to mental health and self-improvement.
At its core, this piece embodies the duality between control and chaos, reality and illusion, inviting viewers to reflect on their own interpretations of identity and emotion.

The Power of Visual Language
This digital typography project explores how form can reinforce meaning. Using Adobe Illustrator, I transformed the word "Gravity" into a visual representation of its concept. The thickened lower portions of the letters create a sense of weight, mimicking the pull of gravity, while the rounded shapes evoke the lightness of floating bubbles, symbolizing zero gravity.
A key detail is the "G," which I modified to resemble a falling apple—a direct reference to Isaac Newton's discovery of gravity. This design choice ties the word to its historical and scientific significance, making the typography not just a means of communication but an immersive visual experience.
This project showcases my ability to merge storytelling with design, crafting type that transcends function to become an idea in itself.
A Study in Depth and Perspective
This mixed-media piece challenges the boundaries of traditional composition by merging painting and collage to create an immersive sense of depth. The artwork depicts a runway leading into the horizon, with airplanes dynamically lifting off—some confined within the painted frame, while others physically break through it.
By combining two-dimensional painting with cut-out elements, I amplify the illusion of motion and perspective, making the planes seem as if they are soaring beyond the canvas itself. The bold contrast between the deep blue sky and the striking diagonal lines of the runway enhances the sensation of speed and ascent.
This work is an exploration of perspective, movement, and the ability of art to transcend its own borders, inviting the viewer to experience the exhilarating moment of takeoff firsthand.

Drapery Studies:
The Art of Fabric in Motion
This graphite study is a deep exploration of how fabric interacts with light, tension, and gravity. Through careful shading and attention to texture, I sought to capture the subtle interplay between softness and structure, emphasizing how folds and creases can create a sense of movement and depth.
Each drape tells a different story—some suspended with weight and elegance, others tightly gathered, revealing the dynamic tension of compression and release. The contrast between shadow and highlight was key in achieving a realistic, almost tactile representation of the fabric’s fluidity.
This exercise sharpened my ability to render organic forms with precision while developing a keen sensitivity to how objects transform under different conditions. Drapery studies are not just technical exercises—they are a way of understanding how materiality shapes perception and emotion in visual composition.
